Results of a new poll carried out by FOX 2 Detroit/Mitchell were published on March 29. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 42.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from September 18 to September 18, among a random sample of 1483 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.0% for the Democrats and 50.0% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Michigan The democrats did better in this poll.
