Results of a new poll conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist were released on April 2. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 52.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 1 to March 3, among a random sample of 2229 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.1 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 40.9% for the republican Donald Trump.
