Michigan: Clinton tied with Trump in latest poll results
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of FOX 2 Detroit/Mitchell in Michigan, were published on April 26. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from September 18 to September 18 among 1483 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-2.5 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.0% for the democrat Clinton and 50.0% for Trump.
