FOX 2 Detroit/Mitchell released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Michigan were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 42.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 42.0% are going to vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from September 18 to September 18, among a random sample of 1483 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.5 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.0% for the Democrats and 50.0% for the Republicans. The vote share for the democrats is 4.6 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Michigan.
