The results of a new poll, sponsored MRG in Michigan, were released on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 44.0% revealed that they plan to vote for Hillary Clinton, whereas 39.0% declared that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from February 22 to February 27 with 600 likely voters. Figures have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrats and 47.0% for the Republicans.
