Results of a new poll conducted by WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press were released on March 29. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 46.0% revealed that they will vote for Clinton, whereas 38.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the republican Trump. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 with 600 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-4.0 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.8% for the Democrats and 45.2% for the Republicans. The democrats did better by 0.3 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Michigan.
