Marquette poll in Wisconsin: Republicans are behind
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Marquette in Wisconsin, were released on April 13. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 47.0% said that they will vote for the Democrats, whereas 37.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted between March 24 and March 28. The sample size was 1405 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 56.0% for the Democrats and 44.1% for the Republicans. The value for the democrats is identical to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
