Results of a new poll carried out by WWL-TV/Clarus were published on April 22. Participants from Louisiana were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 39.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, while 47.0% are going to vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from September 20 to September 23 with 800 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 45.4% for the democrat Clinton and 54.7% for the republican Trump.
