Louisiana: New WWL-TV/Clarus poll shows Republicans in the lead
The results of a new poll, conducted by WWL-TV/Clarus in Louisiana, were published on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 39.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 47.0% would vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out from September 20 to September 23 with 800 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 45.4% for Hillary Clinton and 54.7% for Donald Trump.
