Results of a new poll carried out by WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press were released on April 4. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 46.0% revealed that they intend to vote for the Democrats, while 38.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 among 600 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.8% for Clinton and 45.2% for Trump.
