Latest Siena poll in New York: Democrats with very clear lead
Siena published the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 57.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, while 34.0% plan to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from February 28 to March 3, among a random sample of 800 registered voters. Figures have a +/-4.1 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 62.6% for the Democrats and 37.4% for the Republicans. The democrats did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in New York.
