Latest Quinnipiac poll in Ohio: Democrats trail by a small margin
Results of a new poll conducted by Quinnipiac were published on April 12. Participants from Ohio were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 42.0% said that they plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 44.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was in the field between February 16 and February 20. The sample size was 1539 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.5 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.8% for the democrat Clinton and 51.2% for the republican Trump.
