Democrats lead in Minnesota by 5 points in latest PPP (D) poll
PPP (D) published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Minnesota were asked who they would vote for. Of those who responded, 44.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2 among 1015 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.1 percentage points margin of error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.0% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did worse by 1.6 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Minnesota.
