Missouri: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll shows Democrats trailing
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 13. In this poll, respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 39.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democratic party, whereas 48.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from August 7 to August 9, among a random sample of 859 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 points.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.8% for the Democrats and 55.2% for the Republicans. The Republicans did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
