The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of FL Chamber in Florida, were released on April 12. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 42.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 41.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from September 16 to September 20 among 605 likely voters. Results have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.6% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 49.4% for Donald Trump.
