The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of FL Chamber in Florida, were published on April 14. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 42.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from September 16 to September 20, among a random sample of 605 likely voters. The error margin is +/-4.0 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 50.6% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 49.4% for the republican Donald Trump.
