Virginia: Advantage for Democrats in new Christopher Newport University poll
Christopher Newport University released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Virginia were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 44.0% of respondents intend to vote for Democratic party, whereas 35.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from March 23 to April 3 among 1167 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 55.7% for the Democrats and 44.3% for the Republicans.
