KSTP/SurveyUSA poll in Minnesota: Democrats trail by a small margin
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of KSTP/SurveyUSA in Minnesota, were published on March 28. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 42.0% of participants intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 45.0% intend to vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted between October 29 and November 2. The sample size was 516 registered voters. Figures have a +/-4.4 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.3% for the democrat Clinton and 51.7% for the republican Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Minnesota The democrats did better in this poll.
