PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Iowa: Democrats are ahead
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 22. In this poll, respondents from Iowa were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
The results show that 45.0% of respondents will vote for the Democratic party, whereas 43.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from December 10 to December 13, among a random sample of 1426 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.6 points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.1% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 48.9% for the Republican Donald Trump.
