PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 15. In this poll, respondents from Iowa were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who answered the question, 45.0% said that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out between December 10 and December 13. The sample size was 1426 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.6 points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.1% for the Democrat Clinton and 48.9% for the Republican Trump.
