Illinois: Very clear advantage for Democrats in recent NBC-WSJ-Marist poll
Results of a new poll carried out by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on March 24. Participants from Illinois were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 57.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 32.0% are going to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 1968 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the democrat Clinton and 36.0% for the republican Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Illinois The democrats did worse in this poll.
