The results of a new poll, sponsored NBC-WSJ-Marist in Illinois, were released on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 57.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 32.0% are going to vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 among 1968 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
