Georgia: Republicans with clear advantage in latest TEGNA/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, sponsored TEGNA/SurveyUSA in Georgia, were released on April 4. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 41.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 50.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from February 22 to February 23 with 1261 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 45.1% for the Democrats and 55.0% for the Republicans.
