Georgia: Lead for Republicans in new TEGNA/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by TEGNA/SurveyUSA in Georgia, were released on April 2. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 41.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 50.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from February 22 to February 23 with 1261 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 45.1% for the democrat Clinton and 55.0% for the republican Trump.
