Georgia: Clear lead for Republicans in latest TEGNA/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of TEGNA/SurveyUSA in Georgia, were released on March 29. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 41.0% said that they will vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 50.0% said that they would give their vote to Trump. This poll was conducted from February 22 to February 23, among a random sample of 1261 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.8 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 45.1% for Hillary Clinton and 55.0% for the republican Donald Trump.
