Georgia: Advantage for Republicans in new WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA poll
Results of a new poll carried out by WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA were released on April 25. Participants from Georgia were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who answered the question, 37.0% said that they plan to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 46.0% said that they would give their vote to the republican Donald Trump. The poll was carried out between October 15 and October 26. The sample size was 481 likely voters. The margin of error is +/-4.0 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.6% for the Democrats and 55.4% for the Republicans.
