Georgia: Advantage for Republicans in new WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by WXIA-TV/SurveyUSA in Georgia, were released on April 13. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 37.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 46.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted between October 15 and October 26. The sample size was 481 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 44.6% for the Democrats and 55.4% for the Republicans.
