Florida: Small advantage for Republicans in recent PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
On April 12, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrat Hillary Clinton, while 46.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from February 24 to February 25 with 1012 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.1 percentage points error margin. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.9% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 51.1% for Donald Trump.
