PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 17. In this poll, respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they would vote for the Democrat Clinton, while 46.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Trump. This poll was conducted from February 24 to February 25, among a random sample of 1012 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.1 percentage points error margin.
In comparison with other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 48.9% for the Democrats and 51.1% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Democrats is 2.4 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Florida.
