On April 7, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Florida were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
According to the results, 44.0% of respondents are going to vote for Clinton, while 46.0% are going to vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was carried out between February 24 and February 25. The sample size was 1012 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 percentage points. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.9% for the Democrats and 51.1% for the Republicans.
