Florida: Lead for Democrats in new Quinnipiac poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by Quinnipiac in Florida, were released on March 31. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 46.0% revealed that they will vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was in the field between September 25 and October 5. The sample size was 1173 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.9 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the Democrats and 47.1% for the Republicans.
