CNN-ORC poll in Florida: Republicans trail by a clear margin
The results of a new poll, sponsored CNN-ORC in Florida, were published on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 50.0% revealed that they plan to vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from March 2 to March 6 among 854 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.5 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the democrat Clinton and 46.2% for Trump.
