Florida: Clear advantage for Democrats in recent CNN-ORC poll
The results of a new poll, sponsored CNN-ORC in Florida, were released on March 28. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 50.0% said that they will vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 2 to March 6, among a random sample of 854 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.5 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the democrat Clinton and 46.2% for Trump.
