Florida: Democrats hold clear advantage in recent NBC-WSJ-Marist poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist in Florida, were published on March 24. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 49.0% of interviewees will vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 41.0% said they would vote for the republican Donald Trump. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 2422 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.0 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.4% for the Democrats and 45.6% for the Republicans. The vote share for the republicans is 3.2 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Florida.
