Florida: Advantage for Democrats in new CNN-ORC poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of CNN-ORC in Florida, were published on March 31. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 50.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 43.0% plan to vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out between March 2 and March 6. The sample size was 854 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.5 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.2% for the republican Donald Trump.
