Emerson poll in New York: Republicans are trailing
Emerson published the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. Of those who answered the question, 54.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from April 6 to April 7 with 864 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.0% for the Democrats and 40.0% for the Republicans. The democrats did better by 1.7 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in New York.
