Elon University poll in North Carolina: Republicans are behind
Elon University released the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. The results show that 47.0% of respondents plan to vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 41.0% said they would vote for the republican Trump. The poll was conducted from February 15 to February 17 among 1530 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-2.5 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.4% for Clinton and 46.6% for Trump. The vote share for the republicans is 2.3 percentage points over the average results of other polls in North Carolina.
