Virginia: New PPP (D) poll shows Democrats in the lead
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D) were published on March 30. Participants from Virginia were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 49.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from July 13 to July 15, among a random sample of 1170 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.9 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.7% for the Democrats and 44.3% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Virginia The democrats did better in this poll.
