Democrats lead in North Carolina by 6 points in new Elon University poll
Results of a new poll carried out by Elon University were published on March 28. Participants from North Carolina were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 47.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from February 15 to February 17 with 1530 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.5 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.4% for the democrat Clinton and 46.6% for Trump.
