The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of WMUR/UNH in New Hampshire, were published on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 47.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from February 20 to February 28 with 628 likely voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.7% for the democrat Clinton and 45.4% for Trump. The democrats did worse by 0.3 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in New Hampshire.
