Democrats lead in New Hampshire by 8 points in latest WMUR/UNH poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of WMUR/UNH in New Hampshire, were released on April 16. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 47.0% of respondents would vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% would vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out between February 20 and February 28. The sample size was 628 likely voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.7% for the democrat Clinton and 45.4% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New Hampshire The democrats did worse in this poll.
