Democrats lead in Michigan by 8 points in latest WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press poll
WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Michigan were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 46.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democratic Party, while 38.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 among 600 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.8% for the Democrats and 45.2% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Michigan The democrats did better in this poll.
