Iowa: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll: Democrats at 45%
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were circulated on April 11. The poll asked respondents from Iowa for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
The results show that 45.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted from December 10 to December 13 with 1426 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.6 points. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 51.1% for the Democrat Clinton and 48.9% for the Republican Trump.
