The results of a new poll, sponsored NBC-WSJ-Marist in Illinois, were released on April 7. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 57.0% of interviewees are going to vote for Clinton, while 32.0% said they would vote for the republican Trump. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 among 1968 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
