Illinois: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll shows Democrats ahead
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 15. In this poll, respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
Of those who answered the question, 51.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 33.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted between July 20 and July 21. The sample size was 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.3% for the Republican Donald Trump.
