Democrats lead in Florida by 5 points in latest Quinnipiac poll
The results of a new poll, sponsored Quinnipiac in Florida, were published on April 12. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 46.0% revealed that they would vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 41.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. The poll was in the field between September 25 and October 5. The sample size was 1173 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.9 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 52.9% for the Democrats and 47.1% for the Republicans.
