The results of a new poll, sponsored Quinnipiac in Connecticut, were published on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 47.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 40.0% said they would vote for Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from October 7 to October 11 among 1735 registered voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the republican Donald Trump.
