Connecticut: Emerson poll: Democrats at 48%
The results of a new poll, sponsored Emerson in Connecticut, were released on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 48.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the democrat Clinton, while 40.0% declared that they would give their vote to Trump. This poll was conducted from April 10 to April 11, among a random sample of 1043 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.0 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.6% for Clinton and 45.5% for the republican Trump.
