Connecticut: Clear advantage for Democrats in recent Quinnipiac poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of Quinnipiac in Connecticut, were released on April 16. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 47.0% of interviewees will vote for Clinton, while 40.0% said they would vote for the republican Trump. The poll was conducted from October 7 to October 11 with 1735 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.4 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 46.0% for the republican Donald Trump.
