The results of a new poll, sponsored Quinnipiac in Colorado, were released on April 26. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 37.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 48.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from November 11 to November 15 with 1262 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.8 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 43.5% for the Democrats and 56.5% for the Republicans.
